Default tow mirrors

hey does anyone know if tow mirrors off of a 03 will work on a 01 found a real good deal on them and just wanted to know

Not that I'm aware of as I think the housing and door trim is different. The actual mirror part is similar though.

The door is different where they mate up to the mirror. I wouldn't take the chance. Get some that are specific to your truck. Just my $.02

check on Ebay for coolvue flip-out mirrors(same as the factory flip outs,heated & power) they are fairly cheap and fit nicely love the ones on my fathers truck(99) don't forget the plates if you buy them,they sandwich the door for extra support

I have been running the KoolVues on the '01 and found them to be the same as the OEM's I have on the '05. It sure is nice having them powered and heated...

i have installed the tow mirrors and i could never find the plate ya'll are talking about. i looked everywhere. does anyone have a link for them. and i even went to the stealership and they said they never heard of such.

The backing plates part numbers: 55156128ac and 55156129ac. They were around $15 a piece
