ive got a 2001 cummins and its running about 50% power 100% of the time...
its got a banks turbo, banks high ram, 5" exhaust, air raid intake, and an edge chip but the truck runs like its got a load on it, it only builds 21 lbs boost flat off and has zero power...

although once the truck is at running tempature you can pull over and kill it for about 20-30 seconds, fire it up and it will build 30 lbs of boost and fly until about halfway through 4th gear and it losses power again... its spent hours at the local dodge house and they cant find anything... any help would be much appreciated

welcome to db what are your fuel pressure are you geeting air in the system also check your turbo boots

 

Sounds like possible VP44, MAP Sensor or APPS.

 

Banks only has turbo Upgrades, Not turbos.
Luke's right on with this! Is this a auto truck? With 21lbs of boost and no power almost sounds like a tranny issue!

Sounds like a classic VP issue to me.

 

Not quite, Sounds like a slipping converter....you failed to note the 21lbs of boost.
