crank shaft position sensor
So bout 3 weeks ago I was running my truck kinda hard whenever the check engine light popped on and tach was on 0 but truck was still running! Well after drivin 4 bout 5 miles the tach started workin again! Well next day I stoped at the auto store and they ran the codes! P0336 if I remember rite! They reset it and been fine! Last nite I headed out drivin easy and tach went 0 and check engine light came on! Drove it back home and cut it off! Now it won't start! I changed the sensor 2 years ago? Could it b bad already, or have I bumped the wires puttin in a new starter! Also I 4got where the sensor is! Let me know whatcha think! Thanks
Could be a loose connection,I think it is behind the balancer idk.I would think that you have to do a crankcase learn after you do it ( replace it).Someone will chime in here of were it is.
yeah its behind the starter...and mine does this from time to time too...and it has a new sensor in it...and yes it should be 20 min job unless the oring is rusted to the block from 10 years on rust belt driving
ask me how i know this...
