Default Surges on highway, runs great under load

Hey Guys, got a problem with my 01. Has several bombs and has been running great for years. No new mods or changes in last several months. The truck started surging and I dont mean running rough, I mean dieing like fuel shut off for 1/2 to 2 seconds at highway speeds (70 mph) unloaded. Changed settings on edge juice with attitude and it might be ok for a few minutes and then does it again. Went slower and no problems for several minutes then problem returned. Did this on multiple trips of 60 plus miles. Floor it and it seems to do good unless you floor it while its missing. I know your thinking filters, inj. pump, boost pump etc. but theres more. Hooked up to my 14,000 lb trailer and towed 65 miles in hills and 60 mph with no problem. Could it be a TPS (throttal position sensor)?

Any one had this issue?

Unhook the edge and see what happens. I've heard folks describe the same problem and it was there fueling box.

You might want to check injectors, they could be plugged, it just takes one to bogg u down. besides that I have no idea.
