my friends fuel problem

I'd say pull the superchips off and see if that make's a difference. I'll bet you are getting to much timing. A buddy of mine has a p-pump 24v that is set very aggressive on the timing and it doesn't start very good, has to crank on it for a bit, but once it is started it runs great. Just take a few minutes and pull the superchips and see what that does. Probably the cheapest fix if that's it, then buy a smarty to stack and set it with no timing.

Thats common, Bring the fuel pressure back to say 15-18 lbs (depending on the pump and the volume it produces). Some on this board say 20 and up is better. It's bull you can make the same amount of power with 15lbs as you can 25lbs. I would set at 18lbs and not let it go below 12lbs
really? beside what this guys says my buddy ran a relay to his airdog with a switch in the cab that drops the pressure and his truck cranks fine this guy is kinda off back when i had a vp i wanted all the pressure i could get its a sick feeling when your racing and drain a vp you want all the pressure you can get or else keep a 3/4 in your door pannel you drain em then you buy them real talk
