torque converter issue?

I tried ever trick I could find on my last 01 Auto. Nothing worked except the DDT Filter.

i found somethin on their site bout it but i says just to disconnect the batteries for 15 mins. and then turn key on and press the pedal to the floor and road test. is this rite or is there something else that your talking about. you said u had to cut wires and such but i dunno where to look for that on the site.

That is the directions to rest the APPS sensor.When you buy the filter (DTT)the directions are in it set by set.10 min job.

yea i ordered a filter for it last wed. they emailed me sayin it was on back order but im hopin it comes yet this week. a few days ago it was fine never unlocked the convertor but now today it did it. really hopin this fixes my problem

my 02 did the same thing, cleaning the battery cables would fix it for a month or so, was gonna do the suncoast ground trick but first ran the apps ground wire tap (black with yellow tracer, this bypasses the cummins computer) no probs. now for over 6 mos.

i got my dtt noise filter and its installed fixed my problem thanks to everyone who helped me out

ok so now its time to talk to some experts on here because the problem is back and its as bad now as before the noise filter fixed it for a couple weeks but now its back doin it any other suggestions what is the apps
