got a new scanner today and from the codes I am getting from it looks like I may need a vp44
here are the code what do you guys think?
active codes after I cleared them and started it again
P0251 Injection pump metering control a
P1688 Internal fuel injection pump failure
P0252 Injection pump fuel metering control a range/perfomance
first scan codes were the three above plus two others
P0237 Turbo sensor circuit low
P1689 no comm between ECM and Injection pump

 

Codes of death for the VP44.Does the truck in ? run.Sorry man

 

it will start but it will barely haul itself and is skipping and missing really bad

 

yep vp44. sounds like the electronics are failing with the p1689 code.

 

P1688 generally means a bad VP-44. You also might have a wastegate issue ??

Which scanner did you get?

 

the same scanner as yours Dr. my buddy was working and 1/2 price it was
