The easiest thing to check besides the fuse is the brake light switch. Make sure your brake lights aren't on when your foot's not on the pedal. If they are, that switch will keep your cruise from engaging.

sounds like a trip to the stealership. On GM's the multiswitch went out often, but on the Dodge, it could get down to the module. It may be worth paying them for a diagnosis to rule out anything easy, and if you have to, here's one on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-...%3A1|72%3A1171

Check under driver side battery for broken vacuum line. Seem to be the spot to check. that can affect the vent doors in the climate system too. Thats where I found my problem at under battery.

Good luck,

John

02's are electronic cruise.
My 01 don't work either,but that's cause I've got a 2000 engine in it,thought about changing the wiring all around...I just do without,since I ain't sure it will work...

Will it turn on or is it not engaging? If it is not turning on it could be the switch. I have a short in my steering wheel column, it will not turn on all the time, try taking the steering wheel and adjusting it up and down. Then see if it will turn on.
