my dad has a 98 3500 and driving around it acts like your foot slips off the go pedal but your foot never moves??? any ideas it got a new pump 40,000-50,000 miles ago its got a van akin chip too i guess that's french for a BD? ha-ha
2wd 5speed had the ecm recall done in 99

I would scan for codes. "Could" be the APPS or it could be the injector pump or something else - either of which should have thrown a code if there is in fact a problem here.

that is for the P pump?
and he says its not on the pump that's only for the auto tranny's and his is a stick? true?


he is kinda senile so you never know..........
