Default transfer case problem

I had my clutch replaced about 3 weks agoand it took him 16 days to replace it. Yesterday I thought I would try out the 4 wheel drive, I notices that I have been in 4 high and not 2 wheel drive. I side the stick into where 2 wheel drive is suppost to be and roll forward and my 4WD light comes on, but the front wheels are not pullin. Nutral it donent do anything then 4 Lo no 4WD light and I have 2 wheel drive low. I really dont want to take it back to this guy, does anyone know what the problem could be and how I could fix it. And yes the driveshaft is there.

Well if it will go into 2lo but won't engage the front shaft, I would say your chain is broken. However have you checked to make sure the front drive shaft is spinning? your CAD might not be engaging which would be a problem with your front axle not your transfer case.
