Can we make this a sticky. I've seen a few guys asking what all is involved in the conversion.

I'm going to do this conversion when my auto craps out, so what's the problem that I'm going to run into with the ECM?

Yours is an RH so you wont have the problem. Its the RE's that need the PCM/ECM to be changed or fooled.

so if you change the PCM are you still going to need to get it reflashed or will it be fine?

You need the PCM and ECM out of a standard truck your year for it to work like factory on the VP motors. You can ground out the neutral safety and it will fool the computer into thinking the truck is in neutral and allow it to operate normal also though.
