where can i find the transmission control solenoid and what are some of the syptoms taht go along with a bad one

 

Dealer unless you can talk a tranny shop into selling you just the parts. Not shifting at all is the sympton I had. If left in drive it would take off in 3rd gear. Others I've read about are erratic shifting. A trans shop can diagnose pretty quick if they hook up pressure gauges to the test ports and drive it.

 

I can get you those parts. What symptoms are you having? Second or Third gear starts?

 

my truck will shift ok but right around 40 mph and cruising it cannot decide what gear to stay in it will rapidly shift up and down
