Yea, I would steer away from ATS. I've heard some bad juju from them as far as service after the sale. Their transmissions are great, just a tad overpriced compared to Suncoast, Goerend, or Garmon. As far as turbo's call up one of our vendors here. I would suggest an HTT 62/12 for what you're looking to do.

GET THAT FASS ON THERE!!!! I would take time off to put that on ASAP

 

you could get a quote for everything your looking for right here lots of vendors to give you prices. a few of my buddies have had issues with ats products and will never run them again. I would go a different route.

 

Yep deffinetly do something with your tranny, she aint gonna hold up long with all that power.. I went with DTT tranny, do I like it, yes, it works perfect, but thats me. Deffinetly do some homework on it. I have a 62/12 High Tech Turbo on mine, I just ordered a 13cm stainless steel Exhaust housing for it. according to HTT, the 13cm S.S. will spool up just as fast as a 12cm and have the big power on top end like a 14cm housing.. its win win situation, except for my wallet! $600 just for the exhaust housing!! I cant count how many times i Emailed High Tech Turbo... dont be afraid to email these companies, they all want your buisness!!
so far Lukesdiesel has been the best for me!

 

IMHO if I had a Auto trans it would get either a Suncoast, Georend or possibly a DTT. I prefer Industrial Injection Turbos for the price. Depending on what you use your truck for look at a Phat Shaft or Super Phat Shaft Turbo.

I recommend giving Dave Goerend a call, I will put one of his Trannys in any diesel I ever get. I had a problem one night and sent him an email, next morning I get a strange number on my call display and sure enough it was him, walked me through a few things and took the time to answer all my questions, turns out its electrical not the tranny!!
I would also look into Garrets Ball bearing turbos, I can't belive how fast mine spools. I pulled up beside my buddys srt-4 and from the light I lost about 5 feet off the line then caught up and walked right past him!!
Good luck, make sure you do your homework and are comfortable with what your buying, in the end its you thats paying for it and you that will be using it.

I put in a HTT transmission from CT performance Diesel and very happy with it

 

Georend or DTT For trans.I brought from Luke diesel and Vulcan performance and both give me good deals and good info to more forward with my truck.Not to say that any of the other vendors aren't good.
