hello there is a guy selling this vp44 pump on line in the city i live in , is there a number or something noticeable on a hr vp44 pump to distinguish it from a stock vp44 pump.. and by the way how much hp can a person get with a stock vp44 pump with out going for a hr vp44.

 

You can get more HP out of a stock VP then you can the HRVP. If your leaving your truck stock other then the HRVP you can get around 40HP out of it but once you add any other mods the HRVP will hinder you.

There's competition VP44 trucks makin 1000+ HP off a stock VP. If you do a search for HRVP in this section it will bring up some good material on the subject.

Stay with a SO VP44

 

if you're looking for a high performance vp, check out the bd pump...guys are getting about an additional 60hp w/ a modded truck, plus you dont need to run big lines, gigantic injectors, etc...on a stock truck they say it is an additional 100hp...ill be giving that a shot here when th funds allow it

 

SO. witch is the best vp44 out there.... proven in hp and able to hold up to the mods
above the stock vp44... if i was wanting more fuel... what would i go with......vp44 only...

 

Personally I put a lot of stock in the fact that the best is typically the one everybody else wants to compare themselves to. For Injector pumps that's Blue Chip Diesel's pumps just like in clutches it's South Bend. They are the standard that everybody tries to live up to. But this is just opinions, there's no facts making any one better then most on the market.
