definatly a intake system like an AFE would make it alot louder.

 

I just did this to mine and I can't hardly hear the turbo. Maybe it's cause the straight pipe is too loud

Hmm. Mine doesn't seem to have a snap ring. It looks like the housing is solid cast to the smaller diameter.

Any ideas why this might be?

 

I took mine out this morning after I got to work and drove it around all day lookin at my contractors, I did notice it sounded better but no power inprovements, just sound and I had a heavy foot all day just becuase of the sound. The guys on the golf corse had to be hatin it when I drove up and down the streets.
