I look at it this way... I run 2 businesses and I'm a captain of a fire house so I better make my truck into a second home and have it neat and orderly. It sure make a impression on people when get in for rides... I might not be the biggest in HP/TQ class but I got toyz...

Why don't you get a real trip computer...
ScanGauge II
So far I love mine because I can calibrate it to any vehicle and get accurate mpg numbers and information every time. When my fuel gauge died I used my ScanGauge II for a couple of months as a fuel gauge and never miss a beat. When it displayed for fuel that I needed to pump in the tank and the price it was dead on the money!
As for MPG catch me if you can... My High MPG record...

Oh... As for the ScanGauge II its also got Flywheel horsepower display too... Here is what my truck did for playing on the highway... Really close to my Dyno run numbers...
Hpr = Horsepower Rating (Flywheel)
GPH = Gallons Per Hour (fuel Flow)
RPM = Rev's per Minute
LOD = Percentage of engine load
Here my dyno sheet...
