Overhead console

Has anybody done any thing cool with their overhead computer console? Gauges, control panels, GPS or something. It's the only thing I haven't touched in the truck and it's needs something.

Thank you... :c:

I look at it this way... I run 2 businesses and I'm a captain of a fire house so I better make my truck into a second home and have it neat and orderly. It sure make a impression on people when get in for rides... I might not be the biggest in HP/TQ class but I got toyz...

"Go Big... Or Go Home... Naw! Just Go Home BIG!" :rocking:

Nice:U:
I wonder how many trucks don't have the computer up there

the only thing on my computer that works is the time trucks been running. everything else just states ccd

I wouldn't want to live without mine, it's a challenge on a long drive to try and keep the mileage over 24. I guess with fuel prices dropping, I can afford to smoke and get 17 MPG again

Mopar1973Man 11-21-2008 09:53 AM

Why don't you get a real trip computer...

ScanGauge II

So far I love mine because I can calibrate it to any vehicle and get accurate mpg numbers and information every time. When my fuel gauge died I used my ScanGauge II for a couple of months as a fuel gauge and never miss a beat. When it displayed for fuel that I needed to pump in the tank and the price it was dead on the money!

As for MPG catch me if you can... My High MPG record...

My typical MPG...

Oh... As for the ScanGauge II its also got Flywheel horsepower display too... Here is what my truck did for playing on the highway... Really close to my Dyno run numbers...

Hpr = Horsepower Rating (Flywheel)
GPH = Gallons Per Hour (fuel Flow)
RPM = Rev's per Minute
LOD = Percentage of engine load

Here my dyno sheet...
Dyno

Just more toyz in my truck...:w2:

Wow, that is cool!! Gotta get one, I'll have to run it past my accountant.
