Default what clutch

I am going to need a clutch soon and wondering which clutch to go with. Truck is now stock. I am also thinking of upgrading injectors. I use the truck for work and as a daily driver. I will be pulling cattle, horses, and what ever I need to move. This is my first dodge and first post. thanks for the help. It may be a day or two before I get to check back.

A good Valair or Southbend Single Disk will work for your application.

Have to decide on how much power your lookin for once your done buildin your truck. No reason to buy a clutch now just to replace it next year after you catch the Bomb Bug and need a heavier one. I would definitely say go with SouthBend though. If you read the adds for all the other clutches out there they all compare themselves to the Southbend Clutch. That alone tells me that they all want to be just like them so they must be the best. I know mine has worked flawless and I'm well over the HP rating for it pulling heavy trailers with this farm truck.

By the way let me say welcome to the site.

Uncle Bubba has a point... But still in all also long as your a standard street machine and plan on keeping the HP down below ~400HP a single should work just fine. But its smart to plan ahead and get a clutch that will hold the power you plan on building too...

Thanks for the advice. I'll definatly be below 400hp. Later I will go get a price quote on the other page. Any suggestions on injectors. My truck sounds like it is skipping at idle some times. Just want a little more power and no skip. I was considering the bosh 275 injectors.

If your lookin for that little extra kick then for the money these 275's are the best bang for the buck there is. Air intake, exhaust, 275's and you will have enough truck to do whatever you want it to, point blank. From there if you add the control box and a clutch you will have more power then you know how to play with.
