Just Replaced VP44 And Still Won't Run

That's what I did.
Kinda hard to visit the dealer when the truck won't run. I guess I could have it towed back to them AGAIN, but last time they weren't much help.

UPDATE!!
It runs! I don't even know what I did, but here is how it went:
Cracked open the return line from the VP44
Keyed the ignition on
Noticed very little fuel coming out of the return line(I'm not sure how much is supposed to come out?)
Cracked open the feed line and keyed the ignition
Noticed plenty of fuel coming out of the feed line.
Tightened everything back up and attempted to start
Motor did the same thing it has been doing
Held the go peddle to the floor and cranked it over, letting it start and die about 15 times
With the go peddle floored it actually started to idle on it's own
I let off the go peddle and went through the engine bay poking at wire harnesses and wiggling lines.
Everything looked good
Unplugged MAP sensor
Check engine light came on
Plugged map back in
Unplugged AND removed cam sensor, no check engine light, plugged back in, but did not install
Motor was at operating temperature at this point(about 10 minutes of rough idleing)
Turned ignition off
Waited 30 seconds and started the engine.
Engine idled SMOOOOOOOTH. Hit the go peddle and for the first time in weeks, it reved!
I gave the go peddle hell and a cloud of black smoke covered my neighborhood.
Took it for a hotlap and all seems to be well.
The cam sensor is still just hanging in the engine bay, but it runs like a raped ape. I'm not complaining. I'm jusat stoked it's running.

I think I might have some loose battery connections, too. Next time I went to start it I got the same issues. After a few attempts it started and ran perfect. My battery cables were still loose from when I was working on it so I'm hoping that was the cause. Kinda weird how it can be a paperweight one minute and run like a champ the next.

Well now it's back to not running. Don't know what happened. It drove like a dream for 30 miles and now it is doing the same thing it has been doing.
One thing I noticed is the cam sensor seems to have alot of oil on it and there seems to be a leak inside the timing cover that's doing it. Either that or there is alot of blowby? I clean the cam sensor and put it back in and it doesn't seem to help.

Is it normal to have oil in the timing chain area? When I remove the cam sensor, oil will leak out at a pretty steady rate. Is that normal? The cam sensor has been covered in oil everytime I remove it.
