Going to rebuiled front end
We are going to rebuild the front end, upper and lower, inter and outer, ball joints, and a couple others I cant think what they are called. there is only one or two parts that are good, I think it is better to replace them all, this is not 4X4..
I was told to use Moog parts, any Ideas or suggestions,,??

From what I have seen lately Moog's quality hasn't been there the last few years. When I redid mine I used the best available store brand they had. It tightened up the front end. Have you ever done it before on a 2WD? Its doable but getting the rivets out is the roughest part on the ball joints. Plan on a day just for them. The rest is as easy as any other vehicle.

thanks , No I have never done it, I am not doing it myself health will not let me. I have to pay to have it done, and he is insistent that it has to be moog parts. and it sucks, I can get the store brand cheep the moog not so much.. all most $800 for moog parts. but reading on here moog is the brand to use. it is just hard to understand the difference in the price and quality.. anyway thanks for the reply

Either way sounds like you are getting ripped off. I would check with "RockAuto" for my parts. I recently had my Ford Crown Vic done and was quoted 1800.$ at a local mechanic shop [Labor and parts] I ordered parts from "RockAuto" and cost around 110. & including shipping, My mechanic installed them for 240.$.

I checked all over for the moog parts you can't find them cheep, my granddaughter is getting me the parts at cost. she could get me the store brand for 107.00 for everything but my mic. told my if I put them in, I would have to take it some where else, he would not do it he don't trust them.so I trust hem and going with moog and he will stand behind his work..
