Default How to hit 12 seconds 1/4 mile?

So me and my boss have this bet how he thinks his paxton supercharged foxbody that runs mid 12's on a perfect day will always and forever beat my 2002 cummins. I have plans for mods but i dont know if they will be enough. Im going to headstud it and throw a super B special with DFI 240's in it. im also gonna snag a BD RAD to stop my surging off hard launches. Im gonna put a shift kit in my tranny (already rebuilt) and i wanna lock-up second gear. Will this be enough? i already have the lift pump dealt with and programmer. Are there any problems with this? i was trying to read about this on other forums but no help because everyone got off topic or they where all CR trucks. Thanks Guys.

Why not look at compound charging? That's a lot of fuel for a super b special. And since you are studding the head, it will be able to handle the 2 turbos. What all went into your trans?

i couldnt tell you about the trans. if it goes i got a guy that can hook me up. i am a full time college student working 2 jobs. unless you can find coumpounds that run around 2-2,500k i cant really afford now. couldnt i build off the super b special later on when funds allow? the injectors, turbo and headstuds are all in a kit that i can afford after months of saving.

You should be able to build off the kit you got. But I think you have to much fuel for that turbo. You are going to be a hot smokey mess. I would maybe go with a 7x0.0105.

I would go a set of 175's as listed above. What programmer are you running. I would say you need to be in the 600hp range to MAYBE touch the 12's. But I know for sure you aren't going to touch him with a budget of 2500. You have a truck that weights twice as much if not more than that mustang.

edge juice w/ Hot unlock. the special is a 64mm. would 175 would be enough fuel for it? and if i plan on compounding later on could i throw 200's in and add a turbo later?
