Motor chatter power loss

Default Motor chatter power loss

I have a 99 Dodge 3500 dually it seems I can hear a chatter in the engine while driving also seems there may be a bit of power loss has edge juice with attitude witch I only use gages unless towing witch I do varry little of and a airdog fuel system any help please I am lost

What do you mean by chatter. Any blow by? Could be rings, or something more severe, but it could be as simple as it needing a valve adjustment. Personally I would start there, it's easy, and free. And doesn't take much tooling

no blow by it only has 70,000 miles and all easyones at that . I think I will check the valve lash to see if that may be part of the problem it seems after the edge juice with attitude was installed and the airdog lift pump I started hearing these noises but mostly underload or when driving and no the edge stays on 0 or 1 never above that mostly bought for gages and towing
