Default Steering is all over the place

Well today as I was leaving from the gas station I hears a few pops and when I got home I discovered this was broke. Any help or advice

i do believe he is correct, that rihgt there is part of your support member for the engine, runs all the way across.

Is the truck lifted? that looks like a track bar relocation bracket for a lift, all it does is hold the track bar hole. Thats why your steering was all over, your axle was moving side to side. the easy fix is to convert to a third gen style track bar and mount.
