I think both of ya could be right....I just had a go-round on my 06, took 3 trips to the dealer to figure out, but the system would kill my batteries over night, then when I would charge or boost it to get it started all sorts of codes would come up (over 35) including dead pump...but the truck ran fine. We would clear the codes and then all was fine till it died again...it was drawing 12volts continuous even when we isolated all electical items....

My dealer finally decided to try a new fuse block under the hood as it is the only thing that cant be isolated and Viola...there was one of the resetabble links stuck open drawing 12volts.... No problem and no codes since....Just a thought!

Longhorn / Dr. E: yeah, I've seen all kinds of funny things like that. Most just puzzel me to the point where you start throwing parts at it until something blinks. I think, personally, as the trucks get newer the computers are going to lie more and more because they are just getting so complex.

I can see the 6.7L trucks going into total limp mode if something was to happent to the stock exhaust (not like you'd cut it off or anything!).

I hear some guys up here in Canada are working on bypassing the whole emissions loop for the 6.7...this will allow mods and exhaust conversions...I talked to him last week and they have 3 in their shop and 2 are down (didnt work as planned) but they are convinced it is possible...We still dont have any testing up here yet..

I'm not sure I'd be advertising that just now. Seems to be a VERY sensitive area. In conversations with OP a year or so ago when he was driving the mule he indicated that it was pretty fool proof and that things would be very difficult.

Sorry. Haven't heard back from the original poster. My suggestion of doing batteries still stands because I've seen all kinds of funny codes with problematic batteries.
