Does tranny have to come out to replace band if Lo reverse band broke it broke ? or is finished ? driving it to transmission shop tomorrow. Was told it could be a torque convertor
but do not understand how that is possible. The last time I lost reverse in a dodge van
I was able to drop the pan and change the reverse band servo which had a cracked piston.
I am hoping it is something as simple as that. this tranny was rebuilt 14 months ago and only had 15000 miles on it although it is used for snow plowing and pulling a trailer.
