Swap Help.. 2001 24v into 00 Excursion
Long time reader, first me poster here.
I have an issue with my 2000 Excursion with a 2001 24v.
Runs great with no defueling if the VSS wire is not connected but hits a rev limiter at 1500rpm (like limp mode)
Now when the VSS wire is hooked up I can rev past 1500rpms but get an intermitent dead pedal, at different throttle positions. I have monitored fuel pressure when this happens and stays pressurized, so it seams like the ECU is shutting down the VP44.. any thoughts?? Will a bad ECT or AIT sensor could cause this issue? Any help will he greatly appreciated....
