I have a 2000 Dodge 2500 that will start perfect 7 out of 10 times. When it does not start I have someone crank it and I crack the bleeder valve on the fuel filter canister and let out a little fuel....fires right up...... Any ideas?

 

Sounds like a lose of prime. Have you tried tightening the return line on the back of the head? If that doesn't work try parking with the nose down hill.

What fuel pressure are you seeing?
