i got a 96 12 valve and am having fuel issues. i changed the filters and cleaned the fuel screen was really plugged up and the suction line on the tank was broke on the sending unit. took the tank off to find the sending unit was all broke, slider was broke and screen was ripped on the bottom. put a new sending unit in, got fuel primed and bled the injectors and will only run about a min then loose the fuel and i have to re prime it and will only run for another min. so wondering if my lift pump has failed or where there could be another issue, thanks for any feed back and help.

 

It sounds like the lift pump is on it's way out. I would check that next.
