My bearing went on my 02 and I'm thinking about upgrading, nothing too big. I got the hy35 right now I think but I was on eBay and seen them cheap but Idk how the service and good the product is. I can get one on eBay for like 350$ and I seen some I might be able to adjust the waste gate to get more boost. But if I go new I'm looking at the bd super b. How are these? And I know I can adjust the waste gate on their. Trucks all stock pretty much. Just upgraded the fuel pump. Right now I'm maxing out at 20lbs of boost I want to try and get that up to 40 if I can on a stock motor

 

Look at the data plate on the front of the turbo. It will tell you what it is. Don't go with the ebay turbo. Get the one from BD. At least then you know its a good quality turbo and not a Chinese knock off.

Well they are rebuilt holsets on eBay. I just don't trust the customer service on eBay.

What is a safe range for boost on a stock motor? I do have upgrade lift pump. I was thinking if I can run about 35-40 psi

 

45-50 psi. Anything after that you need to get a set of ARP's
