Default Exhaust temp

I was just wondering what would be considered safe exhaust temp when towing . Thanks

I have always read 1300 degrees. I try to never pass 1200 degrees lets see what others say

I wouldn't go past 1200. What temps are you seeing?

Mine is still stock and am not seeing more than 1000 even pushing it. Just wondering what is safe as I dont want a meltdown. My 97 psd was about the same, 1000 with a tuner but it was also intercooled
