I gotta 99 24 valve and woth an auto Trans today it started staying in third gear . Will downshift manually into second but not first pulls out in third and won't shift up into od. Reverse works fine . Any ideas? Could the kick down cable just need adjusted . Just started this today

 

You have electrical issues, the transmission is in limp mode (3rd gear). Check for power and ground at the plug.
