I have a 99 dodge 24valve that will drop to an idle while going down the road. I pump the accelerator and it will start working properly. Any suggestions? Also, the truck is my daily driver but has salvage title. Anywhere I can find the value of it?? Thanks.

 

Your throttle position sensor mounted on front top of cylinder head is failing. Common problem, one of these times, pumping throttle wont work. About $600 from Dodge. A Cummins part, but no longer available thru Cummins, Dodge asked them to stop selling it, they did! Strange for Cummins to do that. Check for codes first!
