Tranny slips when cold

My transmission seems to not want to grab just after i start up. Once shes at running warmed up it has never slipped or not grabbed. any ideas?

2000 dodge ram 2500
auto
5.9 24valve

When was your last trans service? Might be time to change the fluid.
