Hi guys I am new to the cummins world I have had diesels but all ford and no performance parts. Anyway I have purchased a 2000 cummins auto. It has bd low stall convertor and high pressure shift kit seems to shift strong. Also for engine mods it has air raid intake, edge comp 5 lvl, airdog raptor lift pump with 1/2 lines, pyro gauge and boost gauge, 4in turbo back straight pipe. Had new vp 44 12k ago. I would like advice on if my next big purchase for it is injectors it would like to put 100hp in. I rarely pull anything mainly just a play toy. So any advice for me is highly appreciative.

 

Also boosting around 37 psi on level 5

 

Are you worried about smoking or is it welcome? You could probably get away with 150HP injectors. Does it have a fuel pressure gauge on it? If not I would throw one of those in as well.

 

I figured 150hp would be a little much for my application. I only have raptor 100gph pump and stock turbo. Really don't wanna change turbo. Smoke is more than welcome . How would egts be with 100 vs 150 injectors

 

they have 125 HP injectors or you can buy new nozzle at dieselautopower.com for more affordable price . i think that set will fit your need good without puting a biger turbo
