Eccentric Bolts
#11
I'm gonna keep tryin to adjust the weight between the jack under the axle and the stands under the frame just to see if I can find a sweet spot. But as not movin as this thing is it sure does seem like something besides weight must be holdin in place and I know a shop don't go through this much effort.

By God I won. I just had to get mad enough to get serious. Ain't nothin to tough for a body grinder, BFH and a pry bar. I don't know what was holdin it in there but I finally pulled the top bolt so the arm was hangin lose, ground the head end off the bolt and just pried and twisted until it pulled lose of the mount. Once it was out the bolt still wouldn't pound out I had to take it out to the barn and use a press to push it out. But it's out.

I went through the same thing. the bolt seizes to the sleeve and becomes one.
I wound up cutting the bolt pulling the arm out and putting it in a 10k press and giving it all it has to get it out. that was after trying to heat it and drill it.
have fun with the bolts. they are like $30-40 from the dealer.

Ya it was some sticker shock on the new bolt allrighty. I bought the new Eccentric bolts with nuts and 4 new cab mount bolts and it all totalled up to $75. They are all grade 10 bolts though so it's not like you can run down to the local farm store and get em so not much choice.
I'm hopin the new bolts slips right in like the first side did. I got it all apart tonight but dark took over before I could start puttin it back together. I tried an air chisel on this thing and beat it with a hand sledge after the arm was out and layin on the bench and i still didn't budge it. The press did it but it took a few tries to get a drive pin centered right. I sent the pin flyin across the barn a few times with the pressure.
