Default EGT problems

so im getting pretty high EGT. my mods are. edge comp drag box stacked with a smarty. colt stage 3 cam. DAP 150hp injectors. BD manifold with a phatshaft 62. K&N cold air with a pusher intake. some head work arp studs #115 valve springs. i got i dyno this past weekend and i wasnt happy with the number. one 437hp and 889ft/lbs i thought it would be more like 500-525 and 1000/1100 ft/lbs. need input on what i can do to cool it down and gain HP if them numbers are close

how how were the egt's? on your Phatshaft- what is the exhaust housing cm? 12 or 14?
You may want to step up to a 64 to achieve your goal or NOS..

take the smarty off and you will gain 40+hp right there.

Stacking a smarty with a fueling box that already does canbus fueling and timing causes a significant top end power loss.

May feel stronger but that is only in the bottom end. it'll fall flat on its face in the top end. I have proven this on a dyno. stacked vs not stacked and not stacked made more power. tried adding timing with the smarty and turning timing off on the fueling box, and tried timing on the fueling box and no timing on the smarty... made no difference exact same results.

however no smarty at all resulted in significantly higher hp/tq numbers.

so why r guys stacking them. ik it feels it has more *** but i was disappointed on the dyno the other weekend. 436hp and 889ft/lbs i hv 150hp injectors phatshaft 62 turbo bd manifold pusher intake K&N cold air raptor 150 colt stage 3 cam 115# valve springs edge comp drag box with smarty. i was thinking 500 525hp and 1000 or so ft/lbs so do i ditch the smarty?
