Ok, here it is
2002 ram ext cab dually, 8x10 cube. 150 000 KM.
Running down a rough dirt road, threw a code. Over boost and only had 1st and 2nd.

Waste gate and actuator seized. Had the turbo rebuilt, installed it, cleared the codes with a cheap reader I had laying around. Still nothing above 2nd. The reader never had a tranny code, sooo it may not have seen it or be able to erase it.

Questions
Does his sound like limp mode?
should I be looking for a better reader?
or could there be actual tranny issues as well?

Any help would be great. I need the truck to work and downtime along with dealer prices are killer
