Default Fuel Mileage And Smoke

i really worked my truck on sat and now i seem to be getting much better fuel mileage, and my truck also puffs a little smoke(dark gray/black) when i stump the throttle, is it because i worked it good and it cleaned itself out, it seems to run alot better?

after pulling heavy it seems to me it is much faster, partly because I don't have that load behind me. Just running easy might ad to deposits. running hotter might burn them out.

My truck gets worked out around here locally climbing hills and steep mountain grades at times... But if you follow the rules in my signature you'll get 20+ MPG's every time...

I agree with Whitmore BUT that it is also in how you drive. Your truck can be very dependable and get very good mileage if you keep your foot out of it. An auto trans with a buggered TC will not be very friendly in the pocket book.

If those are USMPG those are still OK but if they aren't you've got problems.
