Default shift linkage??
01 cummins built 47re. Been having problems lately wth it not wanting to go into gear. Shifts just fine but hunts for first gear in drive?? Also hunts for reverse? What could be causing this

If you just put it in make sure you check your fluid in nutral with the motor runing any other way will give false reading i would bet your fluid is 3-4 quarts low
