i have a 4x8 from a 4x6 on mine changed it a little maybe a little deeper nothing real significant id say you will notice a difference from nothing to a 10'' tip.

Cut it off under the cab, that will make it much louder for you.

a 10" tip!!!!!! exiting out the rear of the truck? that would look ridiculous. just my opinion. I just got a 6" black mbrp tip and I think that looks kind of stupid. but far as far as sound I don't think you'll get much difference.

Just do an axle dumped exhaust people will hear you from a mile away and maybe some noise complaints!

I have a 5'' to a 8'' tip straight pipe and I liked the sound it had but was still wanting it louder...only until I heard my girlfriend drive by with https://www.dieselbombers.com/images/smilies/scare3.gif could I hear it and how loud it actually was! In reality your exhaust is most likely really loud but like me I couldn't here very much difference in the cab!

X2^^ I agree I have friends and family say they can hear mine a street ot 2 away. It doesn't sound that loud in the cab. Have someone drive it for you so you can hear for yourself.

Aren't you afraid your 12 inch tip might get snagged on something and get ripped off hanging down that low. I have a 4 to 6 tip and like it. Wouldn't go any bigger. Any bigger you might as well save the money, go to walmart get a aluminum trash can and attach it to your exhaust. Anything over 6 inches is awefully, oralish.
