Hi guys I have a 99 auto and just recently I was at a light then when the light turned green I stepped on gas and it was like it was in neutral... The rpms would just go up then it kicked into gear. It's done it in reverse also. I just changed the tps last weekend because at around 40 mph I would step on the gas almost to floor and it would just stay at 40 then it would correct itself. Hopefully one of you has had this problem with the no throttle response???

And the tps didn't change the problem either, and I'm thinking for the no throttle it could be a clogged valve body???? Or a torque converter?? Let me know thanks!!!!

 

I ended up noticing a small leak. It was the transmission line it had a small dent because it was rubbing on the frame. So I cut a small piece out and replaced it and out some fluid in it and for a few days now its been great. Hopefully that was the issue, a good 12$ fix!!!!
