I got the new pump installed and it works great. But now i am getting codes 0122, 1689, and 0382. No miss at all will be requesting the $160 (they charged more than originally requested) and return the bad pump to them. It sounds great, has a small oil leak but that shouldnt take much thinking to repair. And also are there fake vp44, the new one i got had the bosch symbol engraved all over it and the bad was plain except for the 028 and a couple other numbers? But mainly would you know the cause and cure for the codes? Thanks

Forgot to point out i only care for the codes since they wont go away even after erasing and i have to pass CA smog.

The truck let them go after about 10 miles of driving and smoke is minimal so just breaking it in. Going to smog tomorrow and should pass. Runs smooth turbo is good and it's ready for the road. So i guess they have a bad bosch 815 or lied about it. Either way its fixed. Thanks for all your help

Ok sweet so 0122 is apps sensor voltage to low its probably because it needs to be adjusted i dought its bad check the sticker on the back and probe the apps and move the throtle to see what volts you have and the 0382 is you grid heater make sure you have your ground put back on the right spot and make sure the fuse is is inserted properly

The apps suffer from poor ground and interference issues. If it's showing low voltage you'll likely be looking at something like a Timbo apps.
The grid heater code is referring to the control circuit. No fuses to check, just check the small wires of the grid heater relays. I think that's the code for solenoid #2. Should have voltage while the grids are energized. Likely that the wires just come loose.
