Default need some help

i have a 01 dodge 3500 an when I start it the bat voltage will be at 14.5 then drops to 12 an the heater slows down an then it will jump back up to 14.5 an the heater works like it should it does this several times any ideas?

I have same truck and same problem. I notice it more with my head lights on.

hey turbo I was going threw the pages on this forum an found a guy that was having the same issues but he didn't say nothing about his heater slowing down so idk an they said its the grid heater cycling but idk that's why I asked so maybe some one will chim in that knows or have something different

I could belive it's the grid heater. I've only had my truck since July and really started nothing it when it got cold. Thanks.
