a friend owns this truck, he tried to describe what it was doing but sometimes hes hard to follow. i personally only see it screw up once, and it only does it on a cold start up.

i think it acts up between 2nd and 3rd gear. it seams like it gets stuck on a set speed (25mph) the rpms will rise to 3k with the pedal floored and will take forever to get there. sometimes koko will reset it and it will be ok.

i have not look at the truck yet so i cant say anything about fluid level. im not thinking the tv cable since its only when its cold. so im leaning to a sensor but idk anything about autos or cummins

 

Just a little update. Checked codes today found 216 1693 and 1694. Don't know if they are old so cleared them have to see what pops back up. Thinking the little computer on top of the pump. But I'm just guessing cause these codes are confusing me

 

ok ended up replacing injection pump, fixed it. think it was the computer on the pump but the owner had his mind set on replacing it anyway
