I am doing my heater core and ive reached a snag..i have all bolts out but cant get my dash fully out..pics below if they work.

watch it all the way through.

btw you need to evacuate your A/C and pull the hvac box. don't cut corners and end up breaking A/C lines like I did...

besides you may be surprised to find out how much garbage and dirt is in your evaporator core...

also LMC truck sells replacement dashes for a reasonable price

 

Im struggling to the box out. I only see 2 bolts holding it in and i removed them it the box wont budge.

he points out all of the bolt locations.

 

Just watched it..now the problem is the bolt behind the head i cant get get because the ratchet hits the head and cant get over the nut..and another one is stripped

 

I removed the valve cover to get at the one behind the valve cover.

5 bolts removes the valve cover.

 

Get a helper and pick up on the dash off from the pivot bolts and get it right out of your way
