Went to a cummins brand t-stat. Cleaned radiator and did a coolant flush. I'll post how it does after I drive it

Changed tstat. Flushed system. Cleaned radiator.. problem solved. My heat still doesn't blow hard or is very hot but I have heater core issues. But over heating is fixed. Thanks guys

yeah when you do the heater core, don't shortcut it... evac the A/C system and pull the whole box and replace it all so you don't have to go back in there for another 10-15 years

give it a good cleaning as well.
