O Reilly auto parts usually has it, it's behind the counter though. Just drain the green and fill with tap water several times until it comes out clear, no chemicals. Then drain and fill with distilled water then drain and fill with coolant. The block retains a lot of water with just the radiator drained. You will need to put 3.5 gallons to straight antifreeze in to get a 50 50 mix. The entire system is 28 quarts iirc.

Probably a couple of quarts lost total, make sure to use mercon sp or lv, not mercon 5. As for the coolant filter yes run one. It will prolong the life of your oil cooler. Make sure to not use standard green coolant, use ford gold or the preferred coolant is red cat ec1 rated coolant.
a coolant filter does nothing for the oil cooler.the water passes through the cooler then through the filter which is to late.i am in the process of making a system that filters as soon as it leaves the block and before it gets to any coolers."NEVER USE FORD GOLD" there are a couple of you tube videos on what that crap will do to your system.the elc-1 cat coolant is the best hands down and is the only thing that i use in my trucks and customers trucks.you can also use the g05 it's pretty good.
