Default Turbo question

Hey guy's I need some Info.
My Cummins just does not have the power that it use to have. I have been moving Hay and she just is not putting out. I never hear my Turbo spool and I am not getting very good mileage. I am pulling an eighteen ft. G/N with eleven rolls of tightly rolled hay.

How do you test your Turbo to find out if It's working properly?

first off, do you have a fuel pressure gauge on there?

if not, get one asap...all 2nd gen 24v's should have a fuel pressure gauge whether they are stock or modified.

also when is the last time you changed the fuel filter?

checked for boost leaks?

I'm sorry, I should update my truck. Autometer fuel guage, Autometer oil pressure guage. Fass DDRP FP idle 27 Freeway speeds 23-24 wot 18-20, steering brace.

I might also add that each round bale averages 1100 lbs. So G/N weight and 12,100 lbs and burned 7.65 gal diesel for 98.7 miles might not be so bad? However I still cant hear the Turbo whine or feel any extra power loaded as described or empty without the G/N.

check for boost leaks, and possibly need to clean the map sensor...

boost pressure gauge doesn't hurt to have either.
