Are all 5.9L starters the same bolt pattern and gear?
Any major difference between 12v and 24valve starters?
What/when used the Delco, NipponDenso, or others?

Not sure. I have a 1999 and i just replaced my starter with a durlast gold from autozone for $170 with a lifetime warranty. If money is tight might be a good way to go as it is in my case
