anyone know of someone who is building those high idle boxes for the second gen 24v????

 

Some programmers such as smarty have an high idle feature. My PCM got flashed for the high idle and 3 cylinder high idle. Do not know what it cost's but some dealers can flash it or even a reputable diesel performance shop can possibly do it.

High idle kicks in at 10* F at intake temp, and at -30* F it kicks into high idle 3 cylinder cut out. and Ive used it too.

 

ya my truck has the high idle feature but shibby engineering and prowelder used to make a box that would give you on demand high reg and 3 cyl high idle

 

if you find one let me know, Id like to have it on demand without haveing to make my own, but type in moparman in google and he has a websight for cummins and he has a nice write up on how to make one..

 

ya im a member there too prowelder is the one making the boxes over there shibby makes a real nice one though i cant seem to get ahold of either of them though
